Rainy Days

Looking out the foggy pane,
Keeps me calm and often sane.
As the rain trickles down,
I start to get an opposite frown.
Soothing,
Almost, serenading.
Suddenly starts the big booms,
Next the flashing will come real soon.
By the end I won’t fret,
Because I have a safety net.
