scars
wounds heal,
scars fade,
But the memories remain,
overwhelming, making it hard to deal.
The sound of your voice,
And the smell of your hair,
Even the ghosts of your touch,
Still haunt me .
I know this sounds melodramatic,
And maybe it is a little bit much,
But you knew it or not,
I thought I loved you.
But love is blind,
And so was I,
To think what we had was true.
But then, fate is never kind.
