untitled
Here alone i sit, waiting for you. The wind, mother nature's breath as she sighs. God's light shining down upon his creation. The water, laid out like tiny, smooth shards of glass. even the most tiny details reflecting back at me. I close my eyes, taking in the different sounds. The cars on the road, the birds talking. even that little squirrel seems to smile back at me. yet here alone i still sit...silently alone. I ponder my reflection in the mirror...not recognizing the person staring back at me. Still waiting. Looking into her eyes, she looks lost. Hurt and betrayed. Who is she? I'm still waiting. The sun has gone to bed, and the moon has risen. I realize you are not coming..I look into the water one last time. You have left me here...alone...forever waiting
