Right left, Behind Went Forward
I look to my right,
All I see is wrong,
I look to my left,
All I saw is gone,
I look up,
All I see is people staring me down,
I look down,
And all I see is me,
And I wonder how,
How could I have stopped,
In front of a puddle of murky water,
When I know that,
The cold rains,
Will be blown by the harsh winds,
Back to me again,
And now the puddle,
Is a small pond,
Because I’ve been waiting,
For so long,
I look behind me,
I look in front of me,
All I see is a choice,
A choice to go back,
And start all over,
Or a choice to,
Go into the murky water,
That lies here in front of me,
And filter out the mud,
And look through the clear water,
Illuminated by the light,
From the sun’s faded reflection,
There’s only one way,
So I immerse my heart into the now oceanic waters.
