As I fall asleep staring at your picture,
Listing to the music you like.
I think to myself how amazing it would be,
For it not to be a picture.

How marvelous if would be to fall asleep,
In your arms.
For you to sing to me,
Your favorite song.

As long as I have your music and your picture,
I know that what we had was real.
And not just a figment of my imagination.
Which is what some people want it to be.

Hopefully it will no longer just be a picture,
No longer be me longing to feel you.
No longer be me preying to have you again.
Hopefully it will really be you here with me.

But for now, It just has to be the picture.
For now...
