Tired
I'm tired of writing
Beautiful love notes
And sweet poems about you
I'm tired of gazing
Into brown eyes
That I once thought
Loved me too
I'm tired of lying
To myself
Saying my dreams will come true
Cause you're just a boy
In a big world
There's plenty more like you
One's with bigger hearts
Ones that are humble and kind
One's that speak to me in caring words
And keep the bad comments inside
It hurts to know you don't care
About me
About my life
I wish you could read all these wonderful poems
But now they're burning in the fire
They're on fire
Burning
Crumbling to ashes...
With only a trace of dust
