The Hurt Little Girl
Slam the door, blare the music
To drown out her cries
To drive the pain away
To put out the lies
There are hot tears streaming down her cheeks
He comes to comfort her
She cries on his shoulder
She cries herself to sleep
Outside her door she's strong, brave , and never cries
He knows what it's like on the
inside
She has blisters on her heart that
are still sore
She's a totally different person behind her door.
