My soul not dark but bright
bright as the sun
not dark as the midnight sky
souls consist
of glee or sorrow
not a happy medium
I say
its all from pretend
people holding back there fears
pains
sorrows
memories
which now I never can pretend again!

This isn't the greatest poem in the world, and it isn't "dressed up" or "fancy" like you have something to prove. It's original, and rough, and full of emotion, which I love. Great job - fantastic poem in my opinion :)
