My Crippled Inner Demon
There’s a whole lot of light ‘round me, spiritual serenity.
Waiting for the end, waiting for my enemies.
They came knocking through my walls, seeping in with blackest of nights
The deadliest of sights.
Keeping my eyes open despite the teeth stricken bites.
I remember those nights, the evil around me.
I remember each minute as my skin began to crawl, like they had finally found me.
When time began to close around me, I closed my eyes and saw great symphonies of light.
Sounds that clouded the pain, sounds that created stories of my past, stories of my present, the story of this present night.
A night untold, but a horror that will soon unfold.
