Fairy Tale
Tell me a story
Where dragons rule the world
Sing me a song
Of a giant so tall
Just let me know that there’s something more
Than just ribbons and bows
Tell me a tale
Where pixies fly
Through the sky
On clouds in the moonlit night
Just tell me of a place that’s so much more than life
More than life
Maybe one day someone will say
Let me take you away
And we’ll go off to such a place
Where tears don’t exist anymore
Anyway.
Sing me a tune
Where the world’s not so pale,
Paint me a picture
That has a beautiful sunset
Of a time not so frail
Maybe one day someone will say
Let me take you away
There’s no one to chase
Don’t cry anymore
Anyway.
Reality and myth,
I’m listening to this melody
Hoping somebody will find me
Changing the shades
Are there no grays?
Maybe one day someone will say
The worlds not so dark
And you’re not so frail
So, come out from your shell
I won’t let you fall anymore
Anyway.
