i have dealt with
bullying
and hate
molestation
and abuse
suicidal thoughts
and self hate
and im sure
you have too
but the fact
you are reading
this poem
proves one thing
you have lived through it
the fact that you are alive
means the bad guys
are not winning
the fact you are alive
should put a smile
on your face

The author's comments:
being alive means that you have defeated all the bad things in your life and you still can continue to beat them...just keep looking forward
