The light is dark,
when smiles change to frowns,
and tears fall on the ground,
if no one is around,
that's familiar to the sound,
your hopes of happiness aren't found.

Your heart yearns for happiness,
while your mouth wants to be heard last,
even though you know it'll pass,
you wish it never would've betided.

you wonder why you do it,
just to be heard?
because you were berserk?
whatever the reason,
it makes you hurt.

the light is dark,
in times like these,
so maybe we should never be mean.

The author's comments:
This poem is dedicated to everyone out there that might not have it that easy at home.Maybe they constantly fight with thier parents,or they have to listen to fighting.You're not alone.There are so many people out there that hide evrything inside of them,which hurts even more.

I kinda almost cried. I didn't read your description until after I read the whole poem and my heart sank because I feel where you're coming from.
