They told me colors never faded
That life could never be dull
They told me love never dies
That strength could push you through
They told me it was worth it
That nothing could ever stop me
But now I'm sitting here
Silence pouring over me
Looking at a faded picture
Of one I thought I knew
I'm sitting here motionless
With no sense of time
Just waiting for the day
When life comes back to me
