Ah,
The wonder
Of this little planet.
All the people squabbling
Over green paper and oil,
The machines cutting down forests, making smoke,
The dying trees, the dead animals,
The melting glaciers,
The wars, the guns,
Bombs, nukes
Angry people in suits
Yelling at each other,
Drivers honking,
Planes crashing.

Too bad we might have to colonize it
Because at least their sun won’t blow up
Anytime soon.
