You see me as a perfect vampire
But I’m a monster on the inside
I disappear day in and day out
Never knowing when I will return
I’ll be in a better place
Wishing you happiness in the spots I called pain
When I’m gone
I want to stop hurting you
I want to make you feel safe again
I want to run until my life ends
You can’t stop me because it’s where I belong
When I’m gone
My heart is beating
That I have to leave you
For my family have weaknesses
They can’t resist human blood
Even when they try
When I’m gone
Try not to remember me
