Let me be me

When you're not looking me hair falls down.
I tend to jump all around.
When you're not looking I'm free as a bird soaring above the evergreen trees.
When you're not looking I'm me, I can be my every fantasy.
But when you are looking...
I'm forced into a mold.
A person you want to hold.
I become this unknown clone.
I'm quiet and I feel alone.
Let me be, little bumble bee, so I can be me.
Let me be, litte blue bird, let me be free.
Most of all little insecure boy, let me be ME.
