You, My Enemy
Roots stuck in the ground drenched in hate, unable to be lifted
Eyes so judgmental they could burn through even the purest soul
You my enemy are why this world is so cold even on the warmest of days
You eat away of all who cross your path
You walk with your head high, ammunition in hand ready to shoot at anyone else who dares to stand tall
Who do you think you are
You certainly aren’t kind
You certainly aren’t worth any of my time
You certainly aren’t human
He who dares to bring others down when they aren’t there to defend themselves is a pompous spineless coward; and that my enemy is what you are.
