I told you I would never jump
What if I were to die before I wake?
would you care?
would you even bat one of those
luscious long eyelashes?
The clouds move so quickly in a sea of gray,
whe wind whips so swiftly in a world of terror.
What if I were to perish this moment?
I told you I would never jump,
but would you even notice,
if I made that statement false?
The world sees through me like glass,
their icy shards cut me like knives.
Would they even notice,
If i were to jump?
Frozen inside, sitting on the cliff edge,
feet dangling helpessly over.
The sky is still gray, the wind is still whipping.
I told you I would never jump,
but this promise is too luscious to keep.
