Envy,jealousy, longing
a clenching in your chest
looking at what you want
instead of the hard reality
Mixed feelings of hate
with dispair and distaste
what would it be like
to be them
Surge of hope and loss
hopes raised
to be plummeted
further and further down
What would it be like
to be them
just for a day
or a moment

Very good poem of free verse with stanzas, the meaning is clear, concise, and completely relatable.

Umm...I thought it was good but at least I know I'm not the only one who envy people but still wonder how easy it is to be them. I like ur poem =]

I related to this poem well because they're many envious people in the world. I wouldn't want to experience envying someone,but I have before. I was pleased with the tone of the poem as well, it felt calm and serene.

This is really nicely written. It has good depth and also flows very well.You are right we all feel envy and it is unfortunate...although it is felt with such compoassion. Amazing MWAH.
