Who Am I?
Constantly changing colors;
Sometimes bright,
Sometimes dark,
Showing different sides of me.
The never-ending ocean,
Deep as well as shallow.
Friendly at times,
To be avoided at others.
Some days light as clouds,
A floating breeze in the sky.
Or dark and heavy like a rock,
Stuck on the ground.
A tree soaking
In the sun.
Bristling with life,
Yet dormant at times.
A wolf in a pack;
Surrounded by family and friends.
A squirrel in a city;
A burning curiosity about everything.
Encouraging the best in others,
Bring out who they truly are;
Making people laugh,
Seeing that spark of humor in their eyes,
Writing about the world I see,
About events I go through;
Events everyone can relate to,
To know they’re not alone.
In a house in a
Peaceful neighborhood.
Quiet and undisturbed,
The best place in the world.
A brother who always annoys me,
No matter what.
Doing the opposite of
Everything I say.
The setting sun;
From dim yellow
To crimson red,
And everything between.
The calming rain;
Soft and pattering
Against windows,
Smelling of moist earth.
