Sometimes We Chase Rainbows
Sometimes we chase rainbows,
sunlight dancing across your face
and in your eyes
We chase the tendrils of mist,
looking for something more insightful
And the sun sometimes sets in the east
because with us it doesn’t matter
if reality feels like waking up in the morning,
And if the sun fails to set then
we’ll just sit back and watch the world burn.
