Hidden Places
I long to find the hidden places
That make my soul dance like a breeze.
Sometimes it’s in a rainbow,
Or in the sound of falling leaves.
In a violins pure melody,
Or a note that’s hit just right.
In a cloudless day of summer,
Or the silver starts of night.
In a dream that pleads to come true,
Or a whisper on the wind.
In the beauty of a waterfall,
Or laughter of a friend.
The reflection on a mountain lake,
Or skies that seem to speak to me.
In a flowers brightly colored smile,
Or a wish across the homeless sea.
But the more I look the more I find,
This statement to be true:
My soul dances the most, my love,
when I am close to you.
