I want to let go

I hold you in so tightly,
but you slip right through my hands.
I hold you in for such a short while,
and chase after you for so long.
I breathe you in,
and then you disappear,
and I am only hanging on,
to my dripping, icy tears.
I feel you everywhere,
so I dare not let go,
i'm madly in love with you,
that's all I care to know.
I feel you pulling me down,
I fight to stay above,
but it gets so difficult,
because I feel like letting go.
