I am,,,,
I am young and energetic
I wonder what this summer has is store
I hear the horses in the barn and yearn to be in Tennessee
I see the open pasture and can’t wait to ride
I want to stay here forever
I pretend to be in the ring, showing my star horse
I feel the crowds’ eyes watching my every move
I touch the reins and pray for a win
I worry I will make a mistake
I cry out with joy when the judge calls us to the middle
I am young and energetic
I understand that I will not always win
I say I will have better luck next time
I dream to be number one
I try to train harder, and to fix my mistakes
I am young and energetic
