The Fights
In this huge world I feel alone
As if there is nobody out there like me
Sometimes I wish I had a clone
I wish I could finally see
That people go through these things
And I am part of that group
When I wake up every day the world sings
You’re still alive! Score the ball went through the hoop
Every point is a day of my life.
I am one of the lucky ones.
And I don’t understand how people waste there life with a knife
They whittle away on their wrist because they think they carry tons.
They think life is too hard
And they haven’t been in a hospital bed
Thinking its hard they take that piece of shard
Well they haven’t seen me minutes away from being dead
But I have friends behind me
And they say
That they fight, that we
We all fight a battle. They tell me to stay
KB strong
They say to stay strong and for others to, too.
So I will fight we will fight for a long, long
Time, they fight when I can’t and they do it for me and you.
I fight that monstrous battle with cancer.
I don’t and I won’t ever give up with her.
