traitor
last night around the fire
I sat with good men
my brothers, my neighbors,
my comrades in arms
in this grey early dawn
must I creep across
quiet unseen in great danger
to reach their tents
where we must negotiate
a heavy heart I have
but circumstances compel me
unable to go on we face
the utter disgrace
no chance of winning
either path destroys
so I go to sell my soul
the air is chilly appropriately
freezing my heart
I must betray
will they die by my hand
