I wake within a timeless dream
Sorrow's black flames
Concealing the Earth
Beneath
My body, a broken cage
Left to drown in
the sea of
Pity
Anguish, memories, lies
Can the water
Wash the truth
Upon uncertain hands?
Turmoil's sweet melody
Cast from the strings
of a tainted heart
Plays lullabies
To I
Drifting across the boundary
of thought
I am swallowed
By the purity
of love
That which I have sought
Pulls me from a crumbling
World
The memories I could not take
Left to saunter
in the burning
Dark.
