Christmas is Here.
Merry Christmas to you,
It's the talk of the town
No matter where you look
If it's up or it's down
the streets will be blankets of crystal white snow
and the childrens eyes gleaming,
for it is now that they know.
Embedded in their mind is the sparkling lights
of the corner side music
of Christmas delight.
And right down the road,
the toy shop or two
will be splattered with colors
red, green, orange, blue.
And to catch their innocent eyes
to taunt their longing hearts,
shared with love under the tree
where the real magic starts.
And the meaning behind it,
is hidden in straw
For the few that will look
and see what heaven saw.
Wrapped in swaddling clothes
in a poor broken manger
is the sparkle of Christmas
the worlds childrens savior.
So wrap up the gifts
and stuff all the stockings
For Jesus is born, and he comes a'knockin.
And the angle has said,
Shall not you fear,
So stand up and sing loud,
that Christmas is here.
