I hate
I hate the way you make me feel
I hate the fact that it’s not real
I hate the truth I try to hide
I hate the lies, the tears I cried
I hate the way you walk away
I hate the fact that you never stay
I hate the truth I can’t deny
I hate the lies, the fears I hide
But it doesn’t matter how hard I try
Through the tears, the fears, the lies
I didn’t know it would be hard to do
No matter what, I can’t hate you
I could hate the color of your eyes
Or the way you hold your head up high
I could hate the fact you play guitar
But even then my hate wouldn’t go far
I hate the way you make me feel
I hate the fact that it’s not real
I hate the truth I can’t deny
I hate the lies and the goodbye
