Today Is The Day!

Today is the day, when i can see,
How much family and friends mean to me.
Today is the day, that i can become,
A strong black leader, rather than a bum.
Today is the day, that i believe,
God put me on this earth, so i can be free.
Today is the day, that i can be myself,
Being independent, i just need my people's help.
Today is the day, that one special day,
Where i can walk down "my" street and say what "i" want to say.
Today is the day, when all colors become free,
"No Discrimination, We Want Equality!"
