I hate
Wearing anything other than flip-flops
Some say they are dangerous
Sure, but I know how to wear them
Unlike you
I only trip
Sometimes
People seem to
Always
Step on my flip-flops
Just
Like you
Do
Don’t tell me to wear
Different shoes
Just watch where
You put your dang feet
Don’t apologize
Just don’t
Let it happen
Again
I swear
The next time
Someone steps on the back of my flip-flops
I am going to turn around
And punch them
Smack
In the face
