Favorite Quote:
to be or not to be? that is the question

In the foster care home I felt alone

Lost in the shadows no place to call home

I longed for love a family to hold

But the pain I endured left my heart cold

The days dragged on filled with despair

No one to turn to no one to care

But deep inside a spark still burned

A glimmer of hope longing to be returned

So I made a plan to break free

To find my way to a new destiny

I gather my courage and face my fear

For I knew in my heart

Escape was near

With determination I found a way out

Leaving the darkness erasing all doubt

I spread my wings and soared into the light

Embracing freedom and a future so bright

No longer defined by the scars of my past

I found my voice and my strength to last

For with the journey from the darkness into the light

I discovered my worth and it shines so bright
