Blue
A color so icy, distant and cold
Yet welcoming like a breeze we don’t seem to oppose
A sweet salty smell that travels with the birds
In the free, limitless sky that lays above our homes
A color so passive, deceitful and vain
Yet it’s through the grand richness we’re united the same
A tranquil sound as the rich seas sing
A melody so profound the clouds begin to leap
A color of dismay, fears, and lost
Yet we grow new hope as rain washes what's been tossed
A serenity trapped in the droplets of possibility
A simple tap and it has renewed all credibility
