Cycle Of Our Love
It's like a cycle
I know when it's coming every time
You begin to distance yourself and it no longer feels like you're mine
Another break we must take because you cannot handle my moody ways
Is it the bpd talking or is it you saying goodbye?
I can't seem to tell, I just noticed you've stopped saying goodnight
This is around the time you leave
When you say it doesn't feel right anymore
I no longer make you happy
But it isn't over because before you go you say you'll always love me
I wish you knew how it felt to wait on you in fear you won't be returning
But after a while, you do
Oh, how naive I am to jump for joy when you tell me you missed me
"I've come back for you"
You bomb me with your expired love, coated in guilt, wrapped in "third times the charm", and tied with our souls
"This time is going to be different"
You've "changed", right?
I fall for it every time until a couple months go by and I realize you'ved stopped saying goodnight...
