Those Nights
There were those nights
where sadness felt like an accessory I was always wearing.
And the thought of falling apart crossed my mind one too many times.
Because it seemed easier to give up on the person who gave up on me.
Constantly wishing upon dead stars and wishes that refused to come true.
But those nights were for me more so for you.
Because I found more of myself those nights than I ever found with you.
