A magical, green woodland stands by the edge of the bank.

On it, a sea of purple violets perfumes the crisp air,

Birds chirp happily, spreading their cheerful tune,

Animals prance about the thick carpet of moss,

And butterflies flutter their patterned wings around the towering trees.

In this beautifully still yet bustling woodland, a pool sits.

The water gleams and glistens under the light coming from the trees,

It ripples as droplets of water fall from leaves,

And holds a collection of light grey pebbles that sit under its cool surface.

There I am, standing over this enchanted pool,

Peering into its light blue hue,

And I then see her.

Her swirly brown hair flows freely,

Her wide eyes curious,

Her porcelain skin glowing,

Simply her existence exudes beauty.

Who are you, Water Girl?

Intriguing in your mystery, captivating in your beauty,

You, Water Girl, presiding under the thin cold veil of water.

Who are you, Water Girl?

I need to know.

Then, suddenly, it dawns upon me.

The particular crookedness of her nose,

The lone freckle on her chin,

The familiarity of her eyes,

I am Water Girl!

She is my reflection.

Your poem is beautiful, and the way you describe everything within the poem is simply gorgeous.
