I feel like I can no longer be creative
Whenever I try to paint or draw
I feel a fire burning in my gut.
The colors start to churn and my fists clench.
Sometimes the fire burns too hot
I destroyed one of my only talents,
I convinced myself because everyone else said it,
It must be true.
When really the world and my life
are monochrome.
