I abandoned a friend
Because I was too busy.
Too busy to go on adventures.
Too busy to travel to
Another continent
Without moving an inch.
Too busy to hear stories
Of character's dreams
Coming true.
Can't imagine a better way
To experience years,
Someone else's life,
A wearying journey,
Pages of perseverance,
In merely a few hours.
