Voice
This poor boy.
Doesn't know how to use his voice yet.
This new beauty
Doesn't know the impact he will have on so many people.
And just like every new child
He has to listen to everyone else use their voice.
Except for his mother.
You see, she's had something eating away at her for years.
Hasn't said a word.
But what people don't know
Is that when she looks at that boy
In the middle of the night,
She can't stop herself from singing lullabys.
And when she visits her husbands grave,
She weeps for him.
She wishes he could see their child.
This beautiful baby that makes her sing.
And when she is standing at her mothers deathbed, she whispers words she will never hear.
"I love you."
