FADE IN:
EXT. IN FRONT OF THE FBI HEADQUARTERS - MORNING
A woman is walking into a tall glass building with the words FBI on it, we zoom in a little closer and look upon her features. Her died blonde hair swaying as she walks. The morning sun shines down on her dark brown roots. She has a slight sadness to her beautiful green eyes when she turns her head away downcast of the sun, with a slightly tanned skin showing under her black suit.
KAI (V.O.)
My name is Kai Richter.
(rick-tor)
I am an FBI agent. I work in the BAU (Behavioral analysis unit)
department. Its been almost three years working here and nothing has seemed to happen yet.
 

INT. THE LOBBY OF FBI HEADQUARTERS - STILL MORNING (CONTINUOUS)
Kai walks towards an elevator. She pushes the button for floor number 5 and swipes a card. The chief of their department is in the elevator as she enters. He is taller then her by about five inches and is very dark skinned with a dark dangerous look.
CHIEF
Hey, Agent Richter I need to speak with you in my office.
KAI

Yes chief.
They both exit the elevator on the second floor.
KAI

So, what's this about sir?
CHIEF

We- you should sit down Kai.
KAI

With all do respect sir I would rather you just get to the point.

CHIEF
(sigh)
Okay. Agent I read your file. We got a new case that I already assigned to you without thinking. We are trying to track down a wanted criminal that we know little about. We don't even know his name, all we know is that he and his brother took these two girls about 4 years ago and no one has seen or heard from them that we know of.
(he gives her a stern look)

KAI
(swallowing)
I know what you're asking me, and the answer is yes.
CHIEF
I know that agent, but your team doesn't. You need to tell them.

EXT. A BLOCK FROM THEIR HIGH SCHOOL - NIGHT (FLASHBACK)
We see two brown haired teenage girls walking down the road in short poof dresses. They are giggling and holding cameras around there necks. Kai and her best Friend Jazell are leaving somewhere.
JAZELL
Oh my god Kai slow down my feet are killing me.
KAI
You are being dramatic
(laughing)
I'm literally right next to you for starters.
They are walking to Kai's car.
JAZELL
Dude we would've had dates if you didn't dump Tyler.

KAI
(more laughing)
Me dumping Tyler has nothing to do with you not having a date.
JAZELL
Oh but it does you see because I was supposed to go with Jason Tyler's best friend.
A black SUV approaches from a few feet down the road and makes an abrupt stop.
KAI
(Whispers)
Jazz, what is that?
(stopping and pointing towards a black car)
JAZELL
A car?
KAI
Right, but haven't you noticed that it's been like following us?
JAZELL
No it hasn't. Your just being paranoid.
Jazell looks over her shoulder slowly as she speaks.
KAI
You just looked behind you. You feel it to don't you? Like some one is watching us.
A short grey and white pit-bull puppy approaches whining, the girls turn around at the sound.
JAZELL
(bending down)
Hey, little guy. What are you doing out here all alone?
KAI
Hey there, Cutie.
(bending down as well)
Jazz? This is so weird. What the heck is a little dog doing out here by itself with no tags we're in the middle of the suburbs.

JAZELL
Kai stop jumping to conclu-
Zander and his brother Derek approach from behind in ski masks. They knocked the girls out with white cloths in hand. The two men are an easy 6 foot so they had an advantage.
The taller man whisper-yells.
ZANDER
Dude grab the dog.
DEREK
You grab the dog.
ZANDER
It's your dog.
A petite blonde woman walks up. She looks slight light the boys only smaller.
LINDSEY
Oh my god your both acting like children! Come here Rocko.
DEREK
Thanks Lindsey.
LINDSEY
Oh shut up Derek!
ZANDER
Ha! She told you.
DEREK
Dude shut up!
ZANDER
Linds go grab the car please.
(She leaves)
DEREK
Why does she only listen to you dude?
ZANDER
Because I'm the oldest.
DEREK
So what? I'm the middle. She's our baby sister.

ZANDER
(rolling eyes)
Whatever.
The black SUV pulls up. They put the girls in the back. After the car pulls away Zander pulls put a set of keys he got from Kai's purse. They find her Purple mustang and the two men get in and drive off following the black SUV.
INT. DARK WAREHOUSE, MONTHS LATER(FLASHBACK) - MIDNIGHT
Zander and Derek enter a small room. They leave the lights off so they do not wake up Kai and Jazell. They look between the girls.
DEREK
Dude you gotta do something.
ZANDER
I know I know.
(deep frustrating sigh)
The tall Dark shadows move around the small room that holds the girls and they look down at Kai's small bruised up body.

KAI (V.O.)
Why are they looking at me like that? Oh, crap! Pretend to be asleep.

ZANDER
I think..... We will let her go for now but soon after she and that thing has truly lived I will take her back and she will be my wife. What do you think about this?
LINDSEY
I think that's whats best.
ZANDER
(deep breath)
Okay then that is what is going to happen.
Zander and Derek exit the room followed by Lindsey who closes the door.
KAI (V.O.)
What thing?

EXT. OUTSIDE POLICE STATION - EARLY MORNING
Kai's laying on her side, unconscious in-front of the Police station. A police officer spots her he runs over to her and rolls her onto her back.
OFFICER 1
(talks into walkie talkie)
We have a situation.
OFFICER 2 (V.O.)
(through walkie talkie)
What seems to be the problem.
OFFICER 1 (V.O.)
I just found one of our missing girls from that case a few months ago.
A second officer runs out of the Station.
OFFICER 2
What seems to be the-
INT. THE AMBULANCE - MORNING
KAI
She twists and turns moving her eyes over everything she's looking at.
(hysterically) where am I?! Who are you people?!
NURSE
Hey shh it's okay. Your okay. Your at St. Mary hospital. You were found outside of the police station.
KAI
How- how did I get here?
NURSE
We're not sure where you came from really, but I have to ask you a few questions. Is that alright?
Kai nods.
NURSE
What is your name?
 
KAI
Kai Richter.
NURSE
(smiling)
Okay, good. How old are you Kai?
KAI
18.
NURSE
Okay. Do you know how you ended up at the police station?
KAI
No, I'm sorry.
NURSE
That's alright. Can you tell me where you've been for the past four months.
She freaks out and shakes her head frantically, tears stream down her cheeks. Fear sketched across her face.
KAI
No! I- I can't do that. I don't wanna get in trouble by him.
NURSE
(shocked)
Sweetie, calm down. Who is "he"?
KAI
I can't tell you. (looking down at her hands) I'm sorry.
NURSE
It's fine sweetie. We need to do a few tests if that's okay?
Kai nods again.
A DOCTOR comes in with a wheelchair.
DOCTOR
Hello Kai, are you ready for the-
Kai throws up all over the floor.
NURSE
Are you okay sweetie? 
 
KAI
I don't know.
The doctor asks a few questions.
INT. WAITING ROOM - MORNING
After a few tests Kai went into the bathroom. Her mother showed up and met with the doctor.
DOCTOR
(shaking his head) )
Miss. Richter?
LENA
Call me Lena, Please. Where is Kai?
DOCTOR
She's in the bathroom, she's been throwing up a lot today. She said she has been for the last couple of days actually.
LENA
What's wrong with her? Did she say where she has been for the past four months.
DOCTOR
I'm afraid not, but ma'am we need you too sit for a second.
Kai comes out of the bathroom.
KAI
Mom?
Kai runs over.
LENA
Hey, baby.
(Chocking back tears)
They hug.
DOCTOR
I'm sorry to interrupt but I need to speak with you two.
Kai and her mother sit.
DOCTOR
Kai is pregnant. 
 
INT. CHIEFS OFFICE - MORNING(PRESENT)
In the Chiefs office. Kai is leaning against the wall.
CHIEF
Agent! Agent! Kai!
KAI
(blinking)

I'm sorry. What were you saying, sir?
CHIEF
I said what are you gonna do about the case.
KAI
I don't know I guess I'm gonna have to tell the team about my past.
CHIEF
(nodding)
Yes I think that would be best. I assume Agent Wolfee already knows.
KAI
Not exactly. He knows the basics but not the whole story. Just Roxie.
CHIEF
Okay. Well then your free to go.
INT. THE ELEVATOR
Kai lets out the breath she didn't realize she was holding. The elevator ride went by quickly and she had to step out and go to her office.
KAI (V.O.)
How am I supposed to tell them that I have a personal connection to this freaking case. AHHH!
TRE (V.O.)
(Knock knock)
Hey Kai, Are you okay?
KAI (V.O.)
(Looking up)
No, but I will be.

INT. ROUND TABLE ROOM
Kai enter a room with her team in it.
JACKIE
The only things we have on this case is the mans voice. We tracked a phone call between him and his partner around 5 A.M. A couple of days ago. We don't know the reason he's in Virginia or what he wants. We have no name for the man we are looking for, According to the call he's here for what belongs to him and he's not leaving without it. Hes a mass serial killer and a mafia boss from Vancouver. He's like a ghost we only have a voice he's never been caught on camera, we think that he is the same man who took these two girls about 3 years ago, but we have no evidence
KAI
Can you play the call?
Jackie hits a button on the remote and a voice fills the room.
ZANDER (V.O.)
No, I am here for a reason. You know that. I came for what belongs to me. That was the deal.
DEREK (V.O.)
Yes, I know that but I don't think now is the best time to collect. The FBI is closing in on us.
ZANDER (V.O.)
Okay, I will move in soon and then we can leave with what I came for. I'll talk to you later.
DEREK (V.O.)
Ya, okay, bye.
Jackie hits pause and turns towards the others.
JACKIE
So, we don't know what deal they were talking about or what he's here for.

(Looking at Kai)
What do ya think boss?
KAI
(Gulping)
I need to talk to you guys. I think I know why he's here and I know what the deal is.
TRE
Kai what are you talking about.
(Thinks)
Is this about Roxie?
KAI
Yes, this is about Roxie.
RUBY
Roxie? Y'all's daughter?
KAI
Tre isn't Roxie father.
TRE
(Rubs back of neck)
She is my daughter yes, but I'm not her father biologically. I don't know the full story behind it.
JACKIE
That doesn't make sense guys.
KAI
Jackie, Ruby, Roxie has Tre's last name okay, I am hiding her from her real father and Tre is helping me.
CAMRY
Wait, so then who's Roxie's father?
KAI
That's what I need to talk to you guys about.
DONTA
Okay then talk.
MANNIE
Dude shut up she's gonna.
KAI
Okay boy's behave. Anyway I had Roxie when I was 18. 
I started college about 5 months after she was born. That's where I met Tre. Now as for who her father is well um that's a little difficult to say. When I was 18 and at my high school prom I decided to leave early because myself and a friend of mine only went to take pictures for year book. On our way to my car we got kidnapped. About 4 months later I showed up outside of the police station in my town. When I got to the hospital I discovered I was pregnant. So with all of that being said I think you guys need to know I think that me and Roxie are what he's here for. I think he found us. This guy and his brother are the ones who took me 4 years ago and they made a deal to let me go because of the pregnancy and to find me and take me back once we have lived enough.
 
 
Everyone's eyes are bulging at what Kai had to say. None of this is what they were expecting at all.
MANNIE
That's messed up.
DONTA
Dude.
(Slaps the back of Mannie's head)
Shut up.
TRE
God both of you shut up. Kai, we are hunting down a wanted murder and your telling us that you have a personal connection to this case.
(Runs hands through hair)
(Cruses to self)
What are we supposed to do with that information. What if he comes for you guys, how are we supposed to take him down when we have to worry about you and Roxie's safety.
KAI
No. You guys are my team and I need you to focus on the case. 
Jackie I need you to try and trace the call so we can try to pin-point a location spot and narrow down our search area.
 
(Looks at watch)
I need to pick up Roxie. Tre you still gonna come over at six?
TRE
Ya I'll be there.
INT. DAYCARE - LATER
Toddlers everywhere. Little Brown haired girl with Grey eyes approaches. ROXIE looks happy for a two year old.
ROXIE
Mommy! Mommy! Your here. Where's daddy?
KAI
Daddy is still at the office, but he will be home to tuck you in, okay?
ROXIE
Okay. Mommy? Can we get ice cream on the way home?
(Pleading eyes)
KAI
Sure baby.
(picks up Roxie)
ROXIE'S BEDROOM NIGHT
INT. KAI'S APARTMENT - NIGHT
Tre walks into Roxie's room with a warm blanket. Smiling he sets in on her and looks over at Kai.
KAI
Baby you gotta go to bed now. Daddy is right here okay.
TRE
Hey baby you gotta get some rest.
After Roxie falls asleep Tre lays on the couch and Kai goes to her room.
 
INT. - KAI'S APARTMENT - 3 AM
Tre on couch.
Loud scream cry coming from Roxie's room. Tre comes crashing through the door.
(Kai crouching over Roxie's empty bed, tears stream down her face.)
KAI
I- I found her bed empty and I- I need you to call the team and tell them to get over here Like right now.
Tre nods.
EXT. KAI'S APARTMENT- 6 AM
The team all arrived at Kai's apartment and they are standing in the underground parking lot.
KAI
Okay, I want Ruby Mannie and Donta to check out these three locations that Jackie pulled yesterday from the call. I need you all to stick together.
(looks at phone)
Jackie, can you hear me?
JACKIE (V.O.)
Yep.
KAI
Okay good I need you to try to find any other places we could check out.
JACKIE (V.O.)
Yes, Ma'am I'll call you when I find anything, bye.
KAI
(Looks at others)
Now Tre you Cam and I will look around my apartment for anything that might be useful to us.
 
CAMRY
Hey Boss, so um why haven't you ever told us any of that stuff about your past before?
TRE
Honestly, Cam I don't think it's any of your business so just drop it and look around.
KAI LOOKS IN HER ROOM TO SEE IF SOMEONE WAS IN THERE. SHE FINDS SOMETHING SHE WAS NO EXPECTING. A PHONE. SHE OPENS IT AND WHAT SHE FINDS IS UNTHINKABLE.
She drops the phone on her bed with a loud gasp.
Tre runs in and looks down at the phone. He sees photos of a man leaning over Kai's sleeping body and kissing her forehead.
INT. JACKIE'S COMPUTER ROOM - MORNING
Surrounded by Computer monitors, Kai, Tre, and Jackie are talking.
KAI
Jackie, can you track the number on this phone to the owner.
JACKIE
I might be-
Kai's phone rings.
KAI
(Answering phone puts on speaker)
Hello?
ZANDER
Hello my beautiful flower.
KAI
(Gasps)
I...
ZANDER
Well Kai our daughter looks so much like you its marvelous. All though I see that you've died your hair. We'll have to change that back.
 
KAI
(Looking at Tre and Jackie)
Where is she, you monster?
ZANDER
Now darling is that anyway to talk to your fiance, look I don’t want to argue I was just calling to let you know that our daughter is perfectly fine. Now may I know what her name is please?
KAI
(Hesitantly, shaking)
Her name is Roxie, please don’t hurt her I promise I will do whatever you want just don’t hurt my baby.
ZANDER
Roxie, I love it.
(admiringly)
well darling as for me not hurting her, I would never hurt my own child therefore I will let you speak with her.
ROXIE
(Faint, small)
Hello?
KAI
(Chocking back tears)
Hi baby. Are you okay?
ROXIE
Yes mommy. Where's daddy?
KAI
(looking at Tre)
He's right here honey.
TRE
Hey princess.
ZANDER
(cuts in)
That's enough of that, now Kai I have instructions you need to follow. First use that phone I left in your room I know you have it, Second go to that Tattoo shop between second and third street downtown. 
My partner will be waiting for you to take you to me come alone or you will never see Roxie again.
(Hangs up phone)
