The Prank Caller
The Prank Caller
It all started on a Monday. Sami and I were up in my room watching TV when I got a call. Putting it on speaker phone, I answered, “Hello?”.
“Hi Tracy. Seven days to a week. You alone?”
Disgusted, I hung up.
Tuesday, I was in the basement with Sami when my phone got a call.
“Hello?”
“Tracy. Six days to a week. You alone?”
Sami rolled her eyes as I hung up.
Wednesday. Sami and I were baking cupcakes when,
“Hello?”
“Tracy? Five days to a week. You alone?”
“Again?” I cried, “Just give it up!” Then I hung up.
Thursday. Sami and I were in the living room playing Xbox. My phone rang.
“Hello?”
“Tracy. Four days to a week. You alone?”
“It’s actually seven days you moron.” Then I hung up.
Friday. Sami and I were eating dinner. My phone rang.
“Hello?”
“Tracy. Three days to a week. You alone?”
I hung up without response.
Saturday. Sami and I were eating lunch. My phone rang.
“Hello?”
“Tracy. Two days to a week. You alone?”
“Will you PLEASE stop calling?”
Then I hung up.
Sunday. I was home alone in my room. My phone rang.
“Hel..”
“Tracy. Last day of the week. You are too late. Shut up, I know you are alone. Wanna know where Sami is?”
Then it hung up.
I looked at my previous calls list to calls it back. There was only one call on the list. One. It was from Sami. I pressed it, and a phone went off in my pocket.
