Smith College Creative Writing Workshop
APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN: smith.edu/summer
Join our 1, 2 or 4-week academic and residential programs at Smith College in Northampton, MA. Meet other high school students from all over the world as you live and study on campus. During your time here, you can expect in-person classes to go from 9 a.m.–4 p.m, Monday–Friday, with a lunch break at our dining hall. After class, we provide activities in our houses, or you can choose to unwind. Precollege students have access to the following on-campus amenities: two indoor gyms, outdoor track and field, botanic gardens, a new bookstore, Smith’s distinguished art museum and the state-of-the-art Neilson Library. Academic lectures and office hours are also hosted throughout each week, and dedicated Smith students serve as classroom assistants and residential counselors throughout your precollege journey.
DATES: Program-specific- varies between July 6-19 and
July 21-August 3.
TUITION: Varies between $2,660- $4,745 per session.
Financial aid is available.

- Courses are not for credit
- Smith Precollege Programs are open to students entering 9th-12th grade in the fall of 2024. Smith is a residential women’s college. Our Precollege Programs offer a Smith experience for high school students. Review our Codes of Conduct for students and parents/guardians; to ensure that this program is the right fit for you. College credit is not offered.
