Super Smash 3DS
“Nintendo`s greatest fighters are HERE!”- Gameinformer
“Your favorites are back, from Kirby to Link, Mario to Pikachu!”- Jay
What is Super Smash Bros.? People all over America (and Japan) have been wondering about the newest game in Nintendo`s arsenal. Basically Super Smash Bros. is a game consisting of your favorite characters from other games. Super Smash Bros. has people like Link, Kirby, Mario, and other, older people like Mega-Man, Pac-Man, and Sonic X. Super Smash Bros. allows people to play as their favorite people (including your own Mii!) and combat other characters and your friends in the game. Yes, it’s true! Your favorite Heroes, Villains, and even your own people are able to play in the game! Characters include people from the Mario, Zelda, Xenoblade Chronicles, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Kid Icaris: Uprising, Donkey Kong, and much, MUCH more. As you play, you will get items (see Paragraph 4 for more details) to make them better. You will also be able to make your own people if you have the Nintendo Mii Maker. They will not be useable during the PVP (Player V.S. Player) battles, but in the main game, you can play with them. You will have to choose between Brawler, Gunner, and Sword fighter.
POKE'MON!!??? No, I’m not kidding, Pokémon have joined the fight. You can use poke ‘balls to summon Pokémon. The Pokémon available are Fennekin, Fletchling, Inkay, Giratna, and more. Fennekin`s ability makes a pillar of fire that causes repeated damage to your enemy, Fletchling`s move is to circle your opponent repeatedly and peck them multiple times, Inkay`s move knocks your opponent over making them very vulnerable to attacks, Giratna`s move is to shoot everything in a whirlwind, carrying everyone, even you if you don’t escape, off the screen, and every other Pokémon have their unique abilities. Standard Attacks: Press the A button to do a standard attack that does normal damage. Smash Attacks: Move the analog stick (circle pad) up, right, down, to do a strong smash attack. To do an even stronger move, simultaneously press A and move the
Circle Pad/Analog Stick.
Shielding and dodging: If you press and hold the R button in a battle, you can activate the shield. If you are hit with the shield active, it gets smaller. If it runs out, you can’t move for a couple seconds. If your shield is active and you move the circle pad, you will move in the direction you flicked the Circle pad. If you press the L button while holding R, you can grab your opponent. Once you have hold of the opponent, you can either hit A and attack your defenseless opponent, or throw him in the air by pressing the Circle pad up.
Items and Weapons:
All kinds of items appear randomly in battles. Some of the following items are familiar to
Nintendo. Smash Ball: if you break it as it floats around, you will do the move
FINAL SMASH, but only once. Fire Bar: Once an item that tried to kill you, you can wield this
fiery sword to hurt your opponent. Be cautious though, every time it impacts with your
opponent, it gets smaller. Steel Diver: A miniature submarine that fires torpedoes that get
faster as it attacks. Fairy Bottle: If you have over 100% damage taken, this fairy will heal
100 of your health.
If you feel like you might want to play the newest game in stores, the Nintendo 3DS version costs $39.99 plus tax, and the Nintendo Wii U version costs $59.99 plus tax.
All prices are official and verified by the official website.
