Tourist History by Two Door Cinema Club
TOURIST HISTORY
Tourist history is Northern Irish Two Door Cinema Club’s second album, and is the album that helped them break into the big time. They already have had two major selling singles on the Irish market in Something Good Can Work and Undercover Martin. They also have just released the new single I Can Talk, which seems to be going well so far. The album is mainly electro pop mixed with indie and is general ‘easy going’ music. Ideal for a warm summer’s day or a bus journey you want to sleep on. Their lyrics in general have very little sense with them upon first listening but that just adds to the laid back nature to the album. The album’s music contains good backing drums and bass guitar and the album seems to be the Irish retaliation to island music from the likes of Iyaz. Overall tourist history is well worth a listen and will leave you in a good mood
