The Soundtrack from O Brother Where Art Thou by Various Artists
The soundtrack from the 2000 movie O Brother, Where Art Thou? is one of the greatest soundtracks of all time. It depicts the old rural South through American folk songs. Some songs are actual songs from that time period, such as I'll Fly Away and then others, such as I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow , were written in today's modern era. This music reminds us all of times when the world was lucid and we all had a better understanding of what is important in life. This sountrack won a Grammy in 2002 for its spectacular portral in the movie and everyday life. Even if you are not a fan of country music, I think you will still find this album exceptional. I hope you all enjoy it.
