This jolly short film is about a goofy high school boy and his heroic trip to save his friend. If you´re wondering how funny this film is, don't worry I was asking the same thing before. After watching the film, I had a good laugh and it reminded me of a friend of mine. If you have a friend who’s funny from awkwardness, share this with them or watch it together, it’ll be hilarious. The hilarity isn't gross and smart but Peluca will make you laugh. 

Seth lives in a small town in Idaho where he takes the bus to school and back home. He plays with his toy while sitting next to a little boy. He has a silly and warm heart. He is not always smiling or friendly but he definitely shows it in his own unique way. 

In class, Seth gets picked on by a classmate who sits behind him. Seth says ¨Randy, go find your grandma or something, you´re bugging the heck out of me, GOSH!¨. It's funny how he talks back to Randy instead of being scared of him and letting him do what he wants. I love how he's sassy with it when he says ¨ GOSH!¨. This is my favorite line in the film because it relates to my relationship with my brothers. How they keep bugging me and I tell them to stop. 

Seth has two good friends, who are supportive and look up to him. They listen to Seth and follow him around. One of his pals understands English yet the other said some words but NOT in English. If you understand spanish, I bet this would be way funnier to you. Seth decides for them to skip class after lunch and go to the thrift store from winning more money to shop. 

The music choices in the film are fantastic. It fits so well in the intro. It's very calming and relaxing. It adds to the overall feel of the settings. Peluca is intentionally different from other comedy films. Having a quirky teenager as the main character in ¨real life¨ situations who lives in his own world and learns his way.

Peluca has a classic black-and-white aesthetic and is almost nine minutes long. It was published in 2002 by Jared Hess, while he was at Brigham Young University.
