I usually don’t like sci-fi or space movies, but I decided to watch Interstellar because it is rated 4.9/5 on Google Reviews.

At the start, The movie was strange and I was lost. I would have liked to have more context instead of being thrown into the story. I didn’t understand that it was set in the future or why we were in Colorado.  I finally understood it when Cooper was asked to fly the spaceship for the space mission.

The movie begins in an imagined future in rural Colorado Where a father, grandfather, and a daughter live on a dying farm. the main character is the father,  Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), a former pilot. He gets asked to fly a mission to save Earth—but it will mean that he will have to take a risk that could change his life forever.

You also see the struggles Cooper and his team go through in space and how they overcome them. You don’t just see development through Cooper, you see it through his team of astronauts and scientists Romilly, Doyle, and Amelia, but they also have two robots TARS and CASE.

Lastly, the most amazing part about this movie is the visuals that you see from space. the different views that you see of space, you get to see a black hole and it looks like a black Saturn with flaming rings. This shows some amazing visuals that the director Christopher Nolan uses another amazing visual when you see the Tesseract, this is shown to be a place that is made up of multiple beams that look the same which makes navigating through it almost impossible.

Even though I was confused at the beginning of the movie, the end was one of the most unexpected. The ending is very great because it is very unexpected and is almost creepy in a way. It will make you question the reality of time and will bend your mind.

I would recommend this movie to anyone. It has great character development and amazing visuals, and the movie makes you think. The start is very slow but then picks up very fast. This movie is great for anyone because it is a very mind-twisting movie and always has action, other than the start.
