Harry Potter and the Philosopher´s Stone Review
I have wathced the film: Harry Potter and the Philosopher´s Stone. It is an American and British fantasy film from 2001. The director was Chris Columbus. This film is based on J. K. Rowling´s 1997 novel of the same name.
The main character Harry Potter is played by Daniel Jacob Radcliffe. One night Albus Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall, who are professors at Hogwarts, bring little Harry to his aunt and uncle, because they are his only living relatives. Harry lost his parents because they were killed by dark wizzard named Voldemort. One day Harry received a letter from Hogwarts. His aunt and uncle refused to let him go to Hogwarts because it was school for wizzards and they did not want Harry to go there. Day before school, Hagrid came and took Harry to the train station to platform 9 ¾. When Harry arrived to Hogwarts he met Ron and Hermiona. They become friends and they discover that one dog is guarding the Philosopher's stone, which is a magical object that can produce an immortality elixir. Harry thinks that Snape, who is the professor of Slytherin wants to use the stone to revive Voldemort. As it turns out, the professor Quirrell wanted the stone, because he had a weakened Voldemort living on the back of his head and he was the one who wanted to revire Voldemort. At the end the Stone has been destroyed by Dumbledore for the protection of pupils.
I really loved that film and I extremely liked the actors there and the magical world where it was filmed. While I was watching the film, I actually hated the Quirinus quirrell.
I would highly recomend the film. Especially if you like fantasy or films that are based on fantasy books.
