Review Blitz - Coco
The movie, Coco was so beautiful and made me cry. The movie has butterfly effects throughout many parts of the storylinfe and it was made emotional for the moral and theme to be properly conveyed and noted to the watchers.
There was a lot of good quotes throughout the movie because it felt more like poetry than a movie. However, to narrow it down to three quotes, I would say that they're, "Never forget how much your family loves you" by mama Imelda, "Never underestimate the power of music" by Hector, "You don't have to forgive him, but we shouldn't forget him" by Miguel. Each family member that the main character, Miguel had all taught Miguel something important and it shows throughout my favorite quotes from the movie.
This movie was about Miguel wanting to play music in a household full of people who despises music due to their past. He's accidentally transported to the Land of the Dead where he searches for his great great grandfather to return to the living.
The theme of the story was about the importance of family. It's because at first, Miguel, the main character said that he didn't care if his family remembered him and ran away but ended up regretting it. There was a lot of themes in this story and more of them were courage, honesty, loyalty, and forgiveness.
Since it was such an amazing movie, I made more questions to think about. 1. What would you do if you were torn between your dreams and family? 2. Why do you think Miguel loves music so much with a passion?
