Half the population is gone, and food is scarce. The earth is becoming unlivable, the blight wiped out almost all of the earth's food sources for humans. Cooper, Brand, Romilly, and an A.I. a robot named TARS travels to space on an unforgiving journey to find habitable planets for the survival of the human race.

The science fiction “Interstellar'' is a great movie about traveling into space and trying to save the human race. Cooper played by Matthew McConaughey and Brand played by Anne Hathaway are incredibly great actors who portray their characters perfectly. Matthew McConaughey plays the role of a father who has to leave his kids for the better of the people and help save humans. We get to see how he regrets his decision throughout the movie and I think that he portrays the father missing his kids very well.  And Anne Hathaway plays the role of the daughter of the director of NASA.

In addition, Cooper and his daughter's relationship is probably the most important, his sons not so much. He and his daughter Murph basically saved their race but it wasn’t easy. He left her at a young age with a promise he would come back as he was the only pilot NASA knew who could fly the spaceship well enough. Due to the different times on planets and how time changes differently she never thought he would come back. When he left he also left his watch with her as a final gift. We see later in the movie he was able to code the data for Murph with TAR's help. Their relationship was rocky due to the fact that he left her and she resented him for that. As she grew older she realized that it was for the better and she forgave him and they worked together sort of to save the human race. They worked together by the watch as he used morse code to transfer the data.

On top of all that the music in the movie is also amazing, it goes with every scene perfectly. The composer did a great job. I personally think this movie is definitely worth seeing. The actors and the music and visual effects are amazing. I recommend this movie to people who like Science Fiction movies and are teenagers to adults. This movie is also directed by Christopher Nolan who is notably known for The Dark Knight, the batman movies. If you like his work and what I mentioned about this movie go ahead and watch it.
